I wanted to try kiln dried firewood, and I knew Olson Logging had that. I contacted Scott, to see if I could buy wood. Scott responded right away and was very professional. Scott asked me if I wanted kiln dried or air dried wood, the species of wood I wanted, and if the wood was going to be used for an outdoor boiler, fire pit, fireplace, or woodstove. I answered his questions and we set up a time to meet at the wood yard. The wood yard is an experience, in itself. Very clean, blacktop all around all the buildings. All the buildings and equipment I saw were very well maintained. The next day I started a fire, with the wood from Scott. I loaded the stove like I usually do, and quickly found out that it only takes 1 or 2 pieces of this wood to do what 3 or 4 pieces of our other wood had done. It burns hotter and for a longer time. I am very pleased with this purchase and will continue to purchase from Scott, in the future.
